Devil or Angel ? Yikes! What is this refined Victorian lady doing drinking a beer? Well, I never claimed to be consistent as you are about to learn...when you enter my world. You'll see I am a woman of many facets, and passionate about what I love. While I have a domestic side, as you'll find in my cooking pages, there's a "not to be overlooked" wild side that we'll get to if you continue on.
Mirror, Mirror on the wall....who the heck am I? So who am I? This is complicated, as I'm not sure that even I myself hold the answer to your inquiry. So how in the heck can I possibly relay this to anyone else? Well, perhaps in creating this website I will finally unlock the door to the mystery of my psyche. And if you should find it first? Let me know will ya? I'm a Libra, and like most Libras, I love beautiful things. I'm a very visual person, and I know the things that please me, like colors, and designs, which I suppose brings me to why I love cats as I do. They are such creatures of beauty and poise.......and certainly mystery. Now the funny thing about me is that while I love beauty, you are most likely to find me in a old pair of jeans and a T-shirt, and some shiny black combat boots. Somehow this outer image doesn't fit what's in my mind....or my heart. I still haven't figured this out, but I believe I'm an old soul that must have been very different in another life. I love to just look at Victorian designs and clothing and anything from that era in books and on the internet. I often spend hours surfing webrings just to look at beautiful things and also some of the incredible homepages that some folks have created. The imagination and creativity I have seen out there is amazing, and I'm addicted to surfing homepages. Don't come looking for me in a chat room, you won't find me there. I like to collect things. Kitty angels are a passion of mine and I collect them for the kitty memorial shelf that surrounds the cremains of my babies who've moved on. I also collect vintage clothing, especially nightwear. Funny thing though, I never wear it. What do I sleep in? That's rather personal isn't it? Yup, you got it......a T-shirt of course. Then of course there's my vintage music collection...my pride and joy, not as abundant as I wish, but I like it, and I have fun perusing the old record shops and ebay. What else do I like? I love food, although I try not to eat much of it. How do I stay slim and trim? I've learned the secret and I'll share it with you on my diet pages...not to be confused with my cooking pages, as they contradict each other a bit. What? Didn't I already tell you that I was inconsistent? Things of a fantasy nature are also of interest to me. I love castles and maidens, unicorns, and knights in shining armor (I'm still waiting for mine). I also have a fanatical interest in life after death, and I wonder......where do we go from here? Now, what about my wild side? As I said, I just LOVE music and I'm passionate about my favorite tunes from times past and the artists who sang and/or wrote them. This brings me to those wild weekends here in the smoggy city of Los Angeles...backstage at concerts....Just wait, you'll see some of the photos later if you're interested in that sort of thing. I'll even take you on a tour of my humble abode. I'm quite poor, spending most of my earnings on the animals, but I'm not ashamed of my home. It's very cozy and comfortable and it's my safe haven from the dangers of the big city. I work with the things that I DO have, and I use my imagination along with items and furnishings that people have actually tossed aside unable to see beyond the obvious. I love turning trash into treasure. It's so rewarding. No, you'll never find me in the Ethan Allen showroom either. Are you ready to enter my world?
