My Music Page

It's long been proven that music has the ability to elevate the mood and inspire the soul.  I like all kinds of music, much of which was a little before my time.  I only know what makes me feel good, and that's what I chose to hear, as this is the purpose for which I would be listening in the first place.

I love listening to Doo Wop because it makes me feel good, and I understand that the fifties is more of a state of mind, than a span of years when I was still only a child.  Thus, you'll generally find me tuned into an Oldies station.

Later on, back in the 60s, while my girlfriends listened to and swooned over The Beatles, I was listening to Motown.  Hitsville, USA.  Sadly, I never did get to see the original classic line-up of The Temptations performing live.  I was still pretty young in the late 60s, and the good girls from my conservative neighborhood and background didn't go see such groups perform.  I still listen to these groups, and I've been fortunate enough to meet and spend time with a few of my favorite artists from back in the day.

In the years to come, I would enjoy more of the classic Southern Soul artists, Jazz, and Blues.

Tragically, many of my favorite artists are no longer with us, and I hope one day I will catch a performance or two when I enter Soul Heaven.

I love to haunt the auctions on ebay and collect rare, unreleased or out of print music and old billboard ads from the past.  I'd be happy to share some of my collection with you pictured below, along with some favorite midi files to be coming soon.
