The cats in Cat Heaven are
so loved and spoiled
God lets them all lie on his bed.
He walks in His garden with a good black book,
and a kitty asleep on his
head!
Then when a cat needs, he
may just simply ponder
and watch the blue world deep and wide....
He will watch the old house where he once lived and wandered,
and the
people who loved him inside.
"I'm coming Mommy, I can't wait to see you"
......And the Angel of Earth watched over Gem to keep him safe

He could see his mothers hands reaching out for him. Her arms outstretched, aching to hold him.........even if just for a moment.
Finally, the bright lights of the city came into view......it was his city, Los Angeles, and he was almost there now.
The journey had been a long one, and Gem was tired. He rested awhile in the crawl space before entering the kitchen through the vent hole above the stove. When he'd first moved into his new home he would get frightened sometimes and run up into that hole to hide. But he wasn't frightened anymore.
