The Journey
As Gem leaves his body, the path of his soul sends him through the searing heat of the stars, beyond the icy cold of the darkness, through the knowing and the unknowing, the discovery and the recovery, and the letting go. And best of all, the journey finally returns him to his youth, free from pain and suffering.
The account of his journey is based in part on a session I had with an animal communicator after Gem's death. A skeptic at first, I was told things that I can't imagine the communicator could have known unless my boy was there with her to tell me his story.
To those who are willing to believe, no explanation of these events is necessary...and to those who are not willing to believe, no explanation is possible.
